Works As I Expected for My MBP
I do a lot of spreadsheet work on my laptop while I'm on my long business trips to Asia and have always used a numeric keypad for data entry. I can't stand typing in numbers from the normal keyboard in a row.I had a Bluetooth keypad that had two extra columns of buttons that I hardly ever used and which required two AA batteries, so it was bulkier than it needed to be and being mindful of the batteries wasn't something I needed during business trips. But the worst part of this keypad was that it kept disconnecting with my new MBP. It got so frustrating that I decided that I had to get a new keypad.I wanted Bluetooth (don't want one with another USB dongle to worry about losing) with a rechargeable battery and with a smallest possible footprint. These other function buttons may be nice to have but I realized that I was only keying in numbers on spreadsheets. The ability to use the cursor arrows would be nice but it's really just a matter of moving one's hand a few inches to the arrow buttons on the MBP.The space grey version matches up well enough with the space grey on the MBP. Even Apple's own space grey keyboard and trackpad do not match up exactly the same as the space grey on the MBP so I don't think a little mismatch is something to be bothered by.As far as I can tell, this Satechi keypad sits firmly on the desks I've tried it on and does not wobble at all. Sometimes, one has to be mindful about the evenness of the desk surfaces. The keys feel fine although quite different from those on the new MBP and the Apple keyboards as well. The Satechi keys feel a little spongier and that may bother some people but it doesn't bother me at all. It feels good to me and all the keys work fine.I really like it that it's so compact, can recharge through a USB micro port and, most all, that it doesn't disconnect constantly like my previous keypad did. It keeps me productive on the road with the least amount of hassles, is super portable and simply does what it's supposed to do.

Good keypad for heavy users and heavy typers. Looks great with a macbook pro.
This is a beautiful number pad. The copy I received was solid and sat flat on my desk unlike some of the other reviews. The Good:- Keys feel excellent - similar to a macbook pro, but slightly less precise and noisier. The keys work better if you're a heavy hitter. (see bad section below)- layout is intuitive and keys locations are easy to remember- spacing is excellent- size is perfect for both desktop applications and small enough to travel- pairing is easy and painless- Beautiful. It looks great parked next to a macbook pro. ( I got the one with the black keys to match)- works while it's chargingThe Bad.- I find it goes to sleep to early. I only use the number pad sparsely throughout the day and whenever I want to use it, it's asleep. It takes a few seconds for it to wake up so it feels sluggish at first. If you use your number pad all day for data entry, this will not be a problem for you.- You have to hit the keys right in the middle for them to register. if you hit a key in the corner, you'll feel it click, but no number will be entered. I would recommend hitting the keys slightly harder to make sure they always register. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do, it's not bad.Additional note: for a nice clean charging solution, I bought a pack of these:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KUZR0WA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_14The short cables allow you to charge your keypad from your MBP without a messy bundle of cable on your desk.Overall, it's a good keypad for the price. If you have a $2000 macbook pro, this is a beautiful addition. You will need to change the way you type to make it work though. A small price for vanity :)

Very impressed!
This little keypad is awesome! It pairs so quickly and easily with my MacBook Air. When I stop using it, I can leave the power switch on, and the battery doesn't drain. It goes for days on a single charge. The keys have excellent responses! It's slim and easy to slip in the organizer pocket of my backpack. I bought this to replace my USB wired Satechi keypad, which I had for 13 years. If you're thinking about upgrading to the Satechi Buetooth, it's totally worth it! Also worth the extra money, if you're a first time buyer. This brand has been very reliable for me.

Review and Oppinion
I don't usually reply to request from a product I purchased, but this keyboard is so perfect that I feel obligated. ... I use this numbers keyboard to punk in my orders on a daily basis. ... I have had other brands and I have had trouble with the all, either the bluetooth is inconsistent, or the key sticks (double takes) ... with other keyboards I may order 20 cases of an Item and may get 200 because the zero takes twice. .... I don't get that with the Satechi keyboard, .... I've using it on a daily basis for three weeks now, and glad to say No Problems what so ever! ... and the fact that its smaller than most numbers keyboard, allows me to carry it in my shirt pocket or any pocket. .... VERY SATISFIED! ... WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

Don't waste your money. Difficult to keep connected. Did not last a year.
Don't waste your money. Difficult to keep connected. Did not last a year. When it is connected it is okay, but those instances were few and far between. It suddenly becomes disconnected, then it a tireless journey to reconnect. Then it was inoperative in less than a year. Not worth the money or the battle.
