I purchased this heater core bypass for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic and it fit perfectly. The Cherokee comes from the factory with two different inside diameter heater hoses. This kit includes the adapters to allow for the different size heater hoses. A 15-minute install and I was able to drive without leaking coolant from my dying heater core.

This is a great interim fix to get me thru the summer and early fall. I will have to pull out my dash to replace the heater core but have no time for that right now. With the different adapters it should work on just about every kind of car with heater hoses. Quality product at a good price.

Works great for a bypass

Worked very well, I have a 2003 vw passat with a bad heater core, with this bypass I have no more leaks and have put an additional 80,000 plus miles on the car

Product was advertised as universal fit. Make sure you check and make sure your vehicle just needs a simple connection from one hose to another. I could not make it work on a 2010 Nissan pick up truck. This truck had a tee that went to the heater core & the transmission cooler. The fault was not with the product. I’m sure it works on simpler vehicles.

I bought this heater core bypass kit for my 2001 GMC YukonXL that had a leaking rear heater hose. The kit comes with everything you need to make a leak-free connection. My truck no longer leaks coolant.The installation was fairly easy, with the only snag being disconnecting one heater hose from a plastic connector on the heater core line (we ended up cutting the hose off, rather than possibly breaking the plastic piece).To be clear, this was installed in the engine compartment and bypasses the main heater core, so we currently have no cabin heat. Because it's a temporary patch until we can get the rear heat hose changed, we used a loop of heater hose to protect the heater core ports from dirt and debris.
