I originally bought this for reducing sway on my phones videos but have quickly start using the gimbal for everyday use such as recording live during a drive. The gimbal is very sturdy and feels expensive. I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max with case and have even used a heavy iPhone 14 pro max with an otter case and the gimbal held up no problem. The stability is very nice and provides me clean videos and also looks very aesthetically pleasing. A good amount of features although I wouldn’t pay for the app subscription as I’m only using it none professionally.

So I got the box and the setup was easy. However, the gimble would not use the phone camera wide angle feature which is a must for me. The product does have a premium feel and the app unlike DJI is available from the play store. The battery is weak mine went flat in no time and the motors that stabilize the phone are not the most powerful so you get a bit of sway when changing directions. Initial expectations were great but that quickly turned to disappointment.

Works very well accept, hoping the Zhiyun comes up with an app where the gimbal can interface with. They have some lesser app to use for the time being. Hope it can also work with Filmic Pro eventually, which is essential.

The related software is buggy, slow, underdeveloped and border line malware like. We see all the capital went to the hardware and not the software witch makes this just a door stopper.
