You should still notice significant improvement based on the following; the product formula cuts through the crusty oxides that layer and discolour the paintwork surface. The colourants enhance paintwork tones beneath. Scratches are filled by coloured wax, rather than than being completely rubbed out but the impact is highly effective and makes them very difficult to see afterwards.

Your best bet is to try it on a small area out of the way (inside a doorwell or such). If it looks good then go ahead. Feather it out so you don't have a definite edge too, really helps to blend it all together.
