This is a beautiful double walled glass teapot. Keeps our tea hot while brewing. And I have to mention the customer service at Teabloom is top notch.

I love this teapot, however, man... it is a pain in the ass to get the tea out. I find myself having to let it cool, filling it up with water and trying to chuck it out in the backyard. The tea still is hard to get out of the lid strainer as well. Other that than, it's a good volume and keeps the tea hot.

The best features of this tea pot when compared with others include: 1) it is not hot on outside (so you would not get burned by accidentally touching the pot), 2) you can pour hot water into the pot quickly (in comparison, I had to.pour hot water into a tea pot slowly when all the tea leaves blocked the holes of a small filter sitting at the opening of a tea pot). So, this tea pot can make many cups of tea quickly for a party.

I drink a lot of hot water, and can just put a bunch in here for an hour or more--water stays hot if it starts out just-boiled. Also nice design! And sturdy: I could've e broken it twice by now and haven't. Highly recommend.

As the winter months come on we thought it might be time to get a teapot that didn’t cool off as fast as our plain, single wall, borosilicate teapot. On that, this double walled teapot certainly keeps warm longer but nowhere near as long as a thermos style teapot. The single piece of glass construction conducts heat too efficiently to make this a several hour hot drink holder.However, the loose tea method of brewing with the strainer built into the lid has an unexpected benefit. We now use less dry tea and get a better pot of tea compared to the compact strainer that many other teapots use. Having the tea ingredients float around freely in the hot water makes a better brew. And it visually looks great especially with mixed herb teas.Not the easiest to get the brewed tea leaves out of but it rinses quickly. Feels a little fragile but it’s stood up so far.

This is probably the fifth time I am writing the review, but I plan to persist till this is posted for others to see. For the premium cost of this product, I was very unhappy with what I received - something that looked like the packaging had clearly been opened with some watermarks on the glass. It's not my responsibility to go through the hassle of a return/exchange for shipping me a used product, get it right the first time.

I had two, bought second one when accidentally broken the first one. But second attempt didn't last too... It's too thin/delicate for everyday use - even small hit breaks it easily.Regular, thermally hardened glass should not be so delicate, I suspect the glass is not really the type it should be. Moving to double wall stainless steell pot because it's ridicuously overpriced for daily used simple thing...
