this ice maker is the best going.
While this has only been here a week I must say I love it. Operates extremely quite, hold almost a gallon of water and it is just perfect. Highly reccomend this model and brand.

I love it, very practical
I really like this ice machine. It is our first, but it's very practical and it does the job. The ice production is enough for two people at least. It's not very easy to clean, but thankfully you don't need to clean it very often if you are using filtered water and following the instructions. I like using it on the large setting because the size of the ice is pretty much the same as the small, but it's way thicker.I will say they need to work on improving stickness, though. The ice melts inside the machine if you don't use it immediately. So they will stick to each other, which makes it very hard to put the ice inside some bottles (especially smaller ones) without dropping some all over the floor.

Wonderful. Now with updates. Even more updates now not so great BROKE
The media could not be loaded. Please excuse my outdated countertops, but I absolutely love this ice machine. It’s like sonic ice more dense. I find ice like sonic to melt quickly, but this is dense enough that it does not. I originally got it because I’m an ice chewer, and this was recommended by my dentist. I absolutely love it. The cleaning procedure is easy and it keeps up with two of us in the house. We go through about a gallon of water a day using this machine. Full disclosure we bought the extended warranty as well.Be prepared to pay attention to the measurements when we got it in, was bigger than I originally imagined. The noise level is about the same as the refrigerator, with the occasional is that you, Satan sound here and there. I will update if anything happens to the machine in the next year.April update: so the “Is that you Satan” noises have begun to get louder and louder. And now occasional it growls at me. Yes Growls. I googled it and that’s what people said ice machines can do (growl) when a compressor pump is starting to decline. It’s still making ice just fine, but I’m staring to thank my stars we bought the warranty (just in case)July 2023 update : new pic shows that the power light has now burned out. I no longer have to worry about wondering if Satan is in my kitchen. He definitely is the sounds are coming from this machine now make your head turn. It’s still working it’s still making ice he just comes with a concert. If you’re going to buy this brand, I highly suggest getting the warranty. I have no doubt we’re going to have to use it.DEC2023As you can tell from the new video, we have a solo artist that serenades us every day all day. Instrument of choice : MAC Truck. This ice maker is so loud now and it’s just annoying. The light that indicates Ice, someday it’s on Some days not even though it doesn’t get turned off. We have started to notice that occasionally it just shut itself off as well. The whole machine just stops. Always tends to happen to so that when we wake up in the morning, there’s no ice.. the biggest problem is it will start to make ice slowly suddenly and then quit making it while it’s still running though. I have to put hot water or lukewarm water in it run a cleaning cycle and then it’ll make ice for about 24 hours before it freezes up again I’m assuming it’s freezing up. Contacted manufacturer found out it’s over $70 to ship the icemaker to them that you have to pay for if you want a warranty claim. Additionally, the extended warranty we bought want to help us until the manufactures warranty goes out but if you look at our paperwork, it says that extended warranty starts the day of purchase. I kinda had a feeling this would happen considering we paid $11 for the extended warranty and I think now it’s over 100. I have the feeling this ice machines on its last leg and I’m really disappointed that for an ice machine over $300. This is what we got. Kind of wish I had got an opal now. I have now reduced the rating from five stars to three because in less than a year this is unacceptable. Like I said, I have a feeling am going to be on the phone a lot trying to get this fixed. I would actually look somewhere else for an ice machine now, I would not recommend this oneMarch 2024: this has started to make what I call soft ice. It’s not freezing all that well and melts quick and it’s like a shaved ice consistency. Most of the lights in the front no longer light up so I have to pay attention to what it needs or there’s no ice when it does work. When it run making ice or cleaning the video shows you the god awful sound it makes. Now I get a chance to use the warranty I bought and review it. Let’s see if they still honor it since we only paid 11$ for it and it’s well over 100 now. Lost another star. Just stay away from this model I wish I would have. After further investigation by chewing on more ice I found black plastic in my ice (see pic) yep ladies and gentlemen, it has broke. That is why it’s making soft ice it’s broke. So now I have the wonderful job of getting with the insurance company to see if they’re gonna give me the runaround or fix it. Amazon seems to think they’re going to refund me my money. I should’ve bought the opal!

Best Ice Maker Ever
The feature that tells you when you’re out of water does not work. This doesn’t bother us. Because it makes the best ice and makes it fast. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. We’ve been running it for months and use it everyday.***UPDATE******DEFECTIVE & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE***Less than 6 months after purchase the machine stopped working. I took advantage of the 1-year guarantee. I could only contact the company via email. I had to fill out a very detailed form before they granted me a solution. Despite all the evidence I provided to prove the machine stopped working because it was defective (not from user error or damage) I was forced to mail them the machine so they could repair it or send me a replacement. The cost to mail it (the least expensive option at USPS) was over $60USD - almost the cost of the unit in the first place.Customer service was horrible. It took months to receive a replacement after spending the money on shipping. They kept sending messages saying they were dropping my ticket and my case. It wasn’t until I threatened to go to the police for holding my property with no intention of returning it to me that I suddenly found a new replacement ice maker at my front door - no notice that it was being sent or that my case had been resolved. The replacement seems to be working just fine. It’s been about 6 months since then so fingers crossed it survives longer than the last one!

Easy and Economical
I bought this when our freezer's ice maker conked out, resulting in damage to our hardwood floors. The unit is very easy to set up; remove packaging, wipe down, fill with water, and turn on. Recommend keeping it in a location where the whirring noise won't be as bothersome. The light indicators signal if the unit's basket is filled and will stop making ice until the dispenser is emptied. Two bullet shaped cube sizes. The large cubes are a smidge wider than the diameter of a water bottle spout and about one inch in length. A complete cycle (40-45 minutes for the large cubes) to fill the basket yields enough cubes to fill about half of a gallon zip bag. The main drawback, costing one star, is that the ice is wet and tends to clump when you put it in the freezer. We freeze several zip bags-worth of ice at a time and dump them into our fridge ice dispenser as needed. The countertop icemaker saved us from an expensive appliance repair and the need to schlep to the store several times a week to buy ice.
