Takes almost all truck noise out of calls
I really needed a good headset for taking calls in the truck and this is definitely worth the price to have clear calls without road and truck noise. The battery lasts for a few days with constant 10-12 hr days. The over the ear is my favorite because it sits well enough around the ear to avoid any headaches after wearing all day and The ear cups are super soft. I’ve dropped my pair way more than it should be dropped and it’s never broken and is very sturdy. The buttons are easy to use for ANC, taking calls, changing volume and the button control side could be switched to either ear without any issues. Overall this is a great product and this is my second pair. The only reason my old pair isn’t working is because my kids put it in the washing machine otherwise I doubt it would ever break from use

Comfortable fit
Very comfortable with excellent sound quality. The left side doesn't remain fully up and locked while holding it.

Perfect trucker headset
Best headset I ever bought was one of these and it lasted a little over 3 years. It didn't fail through any fault of it's own but from being handled roughly until it eventually broke in half. Took a chance at buying a refurbished one here and it's just like new! Perfect audio quality, no feedback. Anyone I call only hears me, no engine or road noise comes through the mic. Money well spent

Poor sound quality, falling apart, connectivity issues.
To start, the sound quality in these is pretty bad. They are excessively boomy in vocal ranges, and the bass is muddy and washed out. The microphone performance has been great. More recently (5 months in) the plastics have begun cracking and chipping away. There wired to the primary ear piece at exposed, and a large amount of the plastic that hold the ear piece on has fallen off. The plastic on the cushion side has also started cracking. The entire headset creaks as the plastic bends any time I move my head out adjust the headset. The battery life has been great, the Bluetooth had been having intermittent issues.

The coast
I’ve always been a believer of buying refurbished items. With this devise I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn’t familiar with Rand McNally headsets. I trust their truck GPS with my life. So I figured if their headsets are as qualified as their GPS system I wasn’t going to be disappointed, and I wasn’t. I laugh every time I walk past a display case at Loves, Pilot, and a TA truck stop and I see that they cost hundreds of dollars more than what I paid. Refurbishment is the way to go…
