Annoying
Sound wise with music or whatever... They sound great. But.... when the computer is sitting idle, I have to turn the speakers off because they make so much noise. Between a high pitch squeal and a constant crackle sound, they aren't worth it. It's not just my pc either, everything I plug them into has the same white noise type annoyance

Very nice inexpensive speakers.
I purchased two sets of these speakers. I like them they look nice and sound great. The 1st set was for my TV in my home office. They were easy to set up and work well. The 2nd set was for my laptop that my grandchildren use for playing games when they visit. I was prepared for the sound interference that other people had comment about. Last moth after updating my desktop computer, my external speakers, my blue tooth head phones and my ear buds all started having that buzzing interference. I opened my computer settings, went to my audio/sound setting, and turned off the Enhancements setting. I also did this on my laptop. Everything works fine for me now. Hope this helps anyone else who has this problem. I would recommend these if you need some nice looking inexpensive speakers.

Avoid if you enjoy life
By far the worst speakers I have ever had the displeasure to have sent sound waves into my ears. Those single little speakers from 2007 that I used to plug into my flip phone sounded 10x better.

Great
Bass doesn’t exist but audio is great and I like it, better than my phone.

Decent speakers with a few issues
I bought these speakers almost a year ago now, and they've been working just fine, but based on how cheap these speakers are, there are a few issues that make me feel like the low price makes sense.First off, for some reason when I put my phone anywhere near either speaker while they are plugged into my PC, they start making a weird popping or static noise that gets louder the closer my phone gets. Very strange, very annoying.Secondly, the headphone plug in port not only lowers the sound volume and quality in the headphones, but also gives a permanent popping/static effect similar to the first issue, but with a high pitched screeching noise as well. Finally, the speaker's cables are really obnoxious to use due to the speakers being connected to each other, and then also connected to the two ports (the USB and the audio port cables) that runs into my PC. Very annoying to store and take out without tangling wires and having little to no space apart between the speakers, due to the short length of the cord.Overall, the speakers aren't very great, but they are definitely worth the cheap price tag. Having a monitor that doesn't have speakers (for whatever reason LG has for that) was not very fun, and these speakers definitely fixed that, despite all the issues. They work perfectly fine other than the issues above, and I use them a lot. Solid 6/10

Check the other stuff plugged in if you have static issues
This is the standard type of speakers that used to be included with your computer when you bought it back in the 90’s and 00’s. Nothing fancy, but does the job. But would you really be expecting fancy for this price? Before purchasing this, I had seen in the comments that people had problems with static coming from their device. I Have an external drive that when plugged into the USB, causes a crackling noise on my other speakers. This product also has a static crackling like noise when that same external drive is plugged into it. But when you unplug that external drive, the speakers were fine and when plugging other things in they also work perfectly fine. I suspect there’s something wrong with the USB port connection of that particular external drive that causes the noise to occur, but I believe it is of no fault of these speakers.

Good speakers for its price
Okay first things first, some people may unbox these and try them out only to find out that they suddenly disapoint because it starts making a scratchy or loud fuzzy noise, however do not worry because something I discovered on my own is that these speakers can not run off power directly from the usb on your computer. It is important that you use a usb brick connected directly into the wall to provide enough power for the speakers (The reason why the sound occurs). This will fix that annoying high pitched noise easily, but if you are expecting something to be portable then these speakers are not for you unless you have a sort of portable powerbank. The sound quality is reasonable for $8 (Currently the price) however I'm not sure about $20 for these you can probably find something that will sound better. You can't expect much from budget computer speakers so if you are on a tight budget then these are perfect.
