How do get it repaired and is it worth it

Contact Polar in Bristol, they are quite helpful. That said, it's unlikely a repair would amount to less than the cost of a new machine. Mine had a fault which I managed to repair by replacing a 30p switch, but I am quite technically minded. No doubt a repairman would have charged at least £50 if they were willing to take on the job at all.

Does one have to empty the ice from the ice maker when it is made or can it be kept pending being needed for use - ie not needing deep freeze space

Hi it stays as ice in the ice maker until you need it. I use one on a village sports club. It works very well. The only thing I would say is you need to tip out the stale water if you're not using the machine.

Will the ice melt if not used or does the machine keep it frozen?

we use this machine in our club, it is on 24hrs and produces plenty of ice cubes and does keep it frozen

very disappointed in polar refridgeration my question to them was 'why has my t315 stopped making the larger ice cubes but makessmaller ones

I don't know why , maybe u should ask for a replacement . I have used mine all through the summer ,and only do large cubes , haven't had a problem yet .
