At Last - Fantastic.
My neighbour got the first edition of Captivade for xmass and once we got into it, which took a while, we really loved it - when I went to buy one they were all sold out, I asked on the Captivade website for them to let me know when it would be back in stock and got a email on Monday that V2 or the Second Edition was coming into stock now, Its fantastic quality and really great to play, looks like they have incorporated all the suggestions from the first release into this one, refreshing to see 🙏 Loving it, highly recommend, gGraphics have been tweeked up and the Instructions seem to be much clearer now / the gameplay more fluid with the removal of some of the bits that didn't add much value, Impressed, Keep it coming 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Second Edition is Superb !!
I’ve been a big fan since it first came out. There were a few bits that needed improving and it seems like the guys have really taken on board all the feedback and created a much improved second edition. What I really like is that you get to play 2 characters - you’re both the hunter and the hunted. So if you do get captured then you can still play on as a special agent. What’s also great fun is that you can collaborate with other players to corner a character in and take him or her out.You get to go to the Caribbean and the South Pole. This is a great fun traditional-style board game with a unique twist. We took it on holiday recently and the regular champ was a 9 year old !

Fails to captivate
What made me buy this game were the positive reviews on Amazon but it is difficult to understand how others could gain so much enjoyment from it. After 2 hours trialling it and getting nowhere, all 4 players agreed sadly to put it away forever. While the concept is great, the instructions are incomplete because they miss the level of detail necessary to play the game effectively, nor do the mechanics make the game interesting to play, either. This game would benefit from more player testing and further improvement. On the other hand, the box and contents are well-made and sturdy.

Great concept for a game
This was a great find! The concept of the game works really well, it’s challenging enough to keep you concentrating throughout, but also possible to pick up the basics from the first game. My husband also commented that it was a great concept. The other we thing we like about this game is that because there’s a new path to take each time (and a new lead to follow!) it means that it stays fun and makes it well worth buying. Lots of new tactics to try. It’s a hit with us!

Played once so far…
We were looking for a new game and chose this one based on the positive reviews. I felt that the game was okay but not as engaging as I had hoped. We played with two players and I’m thinking it might be more fun with four players. The game seems sturdy and well made. I feel it was quite expensive but if we managed to get into playing it then it will be worth the money.

Underwhelming
Bought this to play at Christmas with my family. Having read the description I was rather excited however after a couple of hours playing it felt like a let down. Firstly, the instructions weren't very clear - things as simple as where each of the characters starts and the purpose of the mini-maps weren't specified. Not to be put off, we carried on, making up the missing details ourselves, hoping it wouldn't make to much difference to the game once we got started. Secondly, the gameplay: we went through numerous "weeks" of the game and started to realise that there isn't a great deal of depth to it and that finding the escapees is a rather slow, drawn out process, involving more luck than intelligence.I really wanted to like this game. The description involving escape rooms and murder mysteries (both things my family and I enjoy) sounded great but sadly it wasn't much like either.

Brilliant
Really fun and interesting game with a few different elements. Means even if you lose early you can still be involved in strategy and play.I recommend this game to everyone

Great fun
Great quality product. Great for gamers who love to strategies and be competitive. Box is very sturdy so won't get damaged easily. Takes sometime to digest the rules but once you have played a couple of times it's East to play.
