Great Value for money. It seems well-made, and it worked straightaway.I plugged in a monitor HDMI and then plugged the USB-C into the C-slot on my laptop. Win key +P then select extend, and voila! You have another screen to drag things over to!Side note—this replaces a Dell circular hub that cost nearly a hundred quid! Yet does the same job!

It doesn't work for me. I tried to connect my phone with smart TV. Nope, didn't work at all.

worked with old samsung phone, at 720p only, but not with google devices.

My microsoft go laptop doesn't have a HDMI video out socket which was a bit of a nuisance. But I checked and apparently the USB C connector can be used with a converter to provide a HDMI out for display on a television. The proprietary converter for the go laptop was quite expensive so I opted for this cheaper but compatible version. I was pleasantly suprised by how easy it was to use. I just plugged everything in and then in windows 11 various options were presented to view the latop screen (duplicate, separate screens, etc.) on the 2nd display. I set the resolution to 1920 x1080 for my large screen television and used duplicate and was able to watch tv programs and video content on my large screen tv.I can't check 4k output since my television has a max resolution of 1920x1080.

Can't really say as we found out after purchase the phone I have needs an app which I can't afford to buy.When tested on a different phone it did work and was easy to use.
