DEDA Elementi Mistral Cork Handlebar Tape, Black, One Size

This went on my Schwinn Le Tour. This bar tape gives my Schwinn a nice look. They have good grip and they look nice what else can you ask for the price. The length of the bar tape is perfect you just have to take your time to doit the right way. They are good quality cant complain about the product at all.

Recently got my first road bike but hated the foam handle bar wrap. Saw these and figured, for the price might as well give it a shot. Super easy to install, looks great with the logo across them, and most importantly they are super comfortable.

I didn't like this tape. For starters, it's got the Deda logo everywhere. Maybe I wrapped it wrong, but by the time I was finished my bars said "Deda" in about 40 different spots. Second, it's very slippery. My hands do sweat probably more than average, but I could barely keep my hands on the bars after a few minutes of riding because it was so slippery.

This tape wraps well, sticks well, and performs as faux leather should. It is NOT identical to real leather, but so far has sufficient cushion and sweat wicking abilities. Where it differs is longevity. Doesn't last as long, but you can't beat it for the price

This is not very long bar tape. There are better cheaper alternatives available on Amazon. I recommend the fixie tape. In any case, this is thin, not a lot of padding, not a lot of stickiness to the tape, and again, the length is very important. I think if I had enough length to have enough overlap and padding, this might have been alright. Since there is not enough length and not enough padding, there are better, cheaper, more comfortable alternatives available on Amazon. I'd recommend them over these any day.**Edit**Even worse than I thought. I had to buy replacement handlebar tape that fit better and was more comfortable. In the process of removing this bar tape, there was a LOT of residue left on the handlebars. TOO much HANDLEBAR TAPE residue!! It was awful and I still have yet to clean it all off of my handlebars. This, plus the length issues as well as the padding/covering of the handlebars, I have to give this a one star review.

I really wanted to like this bar tape, but I can't recommend it. It looks really nice, and if that is all you care about then go ahead. There is sticky tape on the back. Not enough padding. I didn't want the logo to show, so I wrapped it opposite and covered the logo with the next wrap. Doing it this way, there was just not enough tape to reach the top of my standard drop handlebars. I needed about 6 more inches. I had to re-wrap because of this and the sticky tape pulled off the back of the tape and tended to tear-up the tape it was stuck to underneath. There is no stretch to this tape and it didn't go around the brake levers very well. I have been pleased with many other Deda products and I was disappointed with this tape.

Ok, so contrary to what some people are saying about the deda tape, it is awesome. It got here today, and when I got home from school I immediately wrapped up my bars and went for a ride. This stuff does not tear at all, and I like my bars wrapped really tight. Nice no slip faux leather.

This stuff, for the price, is awesome. I've paid more for cloth tape that disintegrated in less than 3 months and didn't feel nearly as comfortable. People complaining about the logo showing must not be wrapping their bars correctly. Looks and feels like real leather, extremely strong (I couldn't break the stuff without exerting an insane amount of force). Just get it already.
