These are fun to put in a disposable aluminum pan (to contain the mess and make an easy clean up) and let kids dig for their rock. I'd recommend for ages 6 and up. You'll hit the fun jackpot, but don't expect to strike gold.

Had potential but disappointing
These sand blocks were too hard for my children to break into. The included tools were ineffective. We later realized that the sand crumbled when it was wet and we opened it up that way. Both of ours uncovered this dull brown cube (brick offcut?) unrecognizable for any gemstone I know. If the sand was softer and there was a recognizable gemstone inside, this would have been great.

Makes a mess nothing with talking about
It was very hard for my 7 year old to break it does make a mess but really once I’m there nothing worth keeping . The digging I guess was the part they liked then everything went in garbage . Got them away from gaming

Was cool but the stone comes in a sqaure so unreal not.natural looking value not worth it not fun hard to brake not easy

Gold Block Digging kit
These little gold blocks kits are so fun. It includes the small digging tools and the rocks we have uncovered are beautiful gems. My boys and girls love these for gifts.
