This camera works great! We use it to monitor our driveway gate which is 1/4 mile from the house. This camera offers a great solution with a reasonable price. It has a great app and clear video quality. I highly recommend it.

I’ve purchased 4 of these and still have all 4 in operation. They are great and easy to operate. Only downside is that I wish it had longer prior motion recording. I wish this one had the AI motion tracking. The newer version has a great spotlight. Definitely a great security feature I’ve added to my property.

I have purchased 2 of the solar 4G cameras and had them at my farm and they initially worked great. I have no idea what they did, but about 6-8 weeks ago they did the first software update I was aware of and then another one about 5 days ago that made things worse. 1) I no longer get alerts from either camera to my cell. 2) Even if I manually check without an alert, sometimes the calendar will show no events, but then mysteriously several will show up. 3) If I try to playback, I can usually playback the first video and then no other clips will play. I may have a deer on my driveway, or a truck and I can only playback one and have no idea what the other clips are. 4) Daytime clips are now black and white when they have always been color. And playback sometimes now flashes like a strobe. 4) For some reason, the app on my cell was always a little better than my laptop. Now, I cannot even access live or replay from my cell and laptop is unacceptable. They are now completely worthless to me as a security measure or just to view wildlife on my property. Again, these are 2 separate systems, and each have a separate 4G card in them, so it is not one camera just went bad. This is a Reolink problem. I will be replacing them and there appear to be cheaper solutions available than Reolink that have the same features. DO not buy these if you need dependability.

This camera requires a cell phone service to you. I have it with T-mobile. Two lines cost 15 bucks a month for both of them. That includes unlimited data. Picture and sound are both clear. I’m still adjusting the sensitivity on the motion sensors. The only thing I don’t like is the delay when adjusting the camera position. Even with that I still give this 5 stars.

A bit of a pain to setup compared to other reolink cameras, and unless you have really good sunlight, the solar panel will not provide enough power to keep the camera charged. I will still give it four stars as it works decently well when charged.

Used for commercial construction site. Easy to install and perfect for our needs.

The good: live viewing works decently. Motion detection is ok, solar panel charges well when pointed at the southern sky. HD Videos uploaded to the cloud are very smooth to watch.The bad: The "free" cloud based subscription needs to be manually renewed every month or you lose all you online videos. Also the cloud based subscription only uploads the first 8 second of videos from your camera even though the camera can record 30 seconds.The ugly: watching motion activated recorded videos is difficult and is often choppy when streamed from the camera to your phone, even with a strong cell signal. The obvious workaround would be to download the video and watch it on a phone or pc, but downloads greater than a couple seconds long fail 100% of the time. Customer service seems to know about this download bug but claims they can't do anything about it. Oddly, their software can upload videos to the cloud perfectly fine under the same cellular connection. But as stated above, the camera will only upload the first 8 seconds of video to the cloud.Also, the adjustable metal ball mount for the solar panel snapped the when I tried adjusting it the second time. Looks like super low quality metal was used. I had to tape my solar panel in place.Bottom line: this camera works well for live monitoring in remote areas, and for watching brief 8 second motion-activated video clips on the cloud but if you want to download and keep any videos to share with friends or law enforcement, look for a different camera. Also be very gentle when handling because the build quality is typical Chinese junk.

I can't believe the clarity of this camera. I placed it in a location where I can remotely watch my shop and future home site while the house is being built. Cell connectivity is marginal at best in that area but the camera comes through with awesome clarity during the day and reasonable visibility at night. Highly recommend.
