This is a great looking prop. The pages are blank, so you can use it for anything you like.Get the bigger one, if you want something that looks like the one in the movie.

I purchased this as an engagement gift for some friends of mine, and though it's nothing like a perfect replica, it's a very good resemblance to the book from the movie.I purchased the 18x14 as it seemed closest to the book size from the movie. I wish they made the eye larger as it seems small on the larger book. The book itself looks great, though.The pages inside the book are all blank, but very heavy paper and made to look weathered.The book is latched shut with three metal latches. The latches seemed to be decent quality hardware. They don't feel like they would break very easily, though they would probably bend if you put too much pressure on them.Overall, I think the book was worth the money I paid for it. I'm not at all disappointed in my purchase and when I presented this gift to the couple they were ecstatic with it.

The size is accurate on website, I'm just bad at sizing. So it was smaller than anticipated, but perfect size for child/young adult costume. However, if I had purchased the correct size per movie, it would have been expensive and heavy. It was really easy for me to carry around at adult party, it was a popular accessory, and worked out very well.

At first glance this is a pretty cool book. Well, even 2nd glance, too. I do have two complaints, but the price was right, so I still gave it 5 stars. 1. I wish the eyeball was a bit bigger. 2. I wish it had a bit more weight to it. As is the book is very lightweight. It almost feels like it's made of rubberized foam or sponge, including the cover, binding, & "paper."I'll probably come up with some "spells" to write inside, and maybe glue a thin sheet of steel on back page, to make it feel like a real book, to remedy my 2nd complaint.
