If you are expecting this book to be the exact replica of the movie - it's not
This is my first ever read of an Agatha Christie novel. I admit I purchased it because I was interested to see the movie tie-in, since I had already watched the movie. It's well written and it's interesting to see the style of writing by Agatha Christie.

The movie is nothing like the book
The book was good like all book by Agatha Christie. The movie was a huge disappointment and did not measure up in any way to the book.

Good story originally
Disappointing as this was simply a reprint of the original Agatha Christie story. Also disappointing that this book did not reflect the changes in the movie of this title. Waste of money.

A Classic Who-Dunnit
I wanted to read this ahead of the movie coming out (because let's face it, the book is always better) and I'm so glad I did! I have some mixed feelings about Hercule Poirot as a protagonist, but in this book I found myself drawn in and invested in solving the mystery along with him. If you're a fan of the classic who-dunnit mystery, you'll love this book!

Not worth all the hype
Read this in 1.5 days, not because it was interesting though. Only because this is when I have the time. I purchased this based on an ad I saw on tv for the movie. This book was not exciting, and not at all captivating. Never felt in the scene as I have with other books. I kept on going in hopes it would start to get interesting and it never did. The last maybe 10 pages finally got to the point, not really a plot twist, more of an unlikely suspect, though I had my suspicions. Maybe I was expecting to read a different book all together, idk. But my opinion, not good and I’m actually shocked it’s sold out at my local Walmart.
