Q: Does the table top have a plastic film that is supposed to be removed?

I'm not sure if it was supposed to be removed or not, but I did remove mine after kind of stumbling upon it. The table has been fine and does still have some type the of waterproof covering, but I do wish I would have left it on just to see how it would have held us as an extra security. However, the table has been great without it.
