Nice bumper
Nice bumper, installed it myself , took about an hour and a half. Packaged well but did have a small dent on the bull bar. It was on the side that faces the radiator so you won’t see it unless you’re looking for it. Upgraded the bolts that attached the bull bar as I felt like the supplied bolts could be bigger. No big deal as I had bolts at home that did the trick. Looks great on the old TJ. Jury’s still out on mounting a winch as the metal is not quite as thick as the factory bumper. Would like to know if anyone has a winch installed and how it worked on the bumper. As far as impact goes even the factory bumper will bend if hit hard enough. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

More show than go
It’s inexpensive, easy to install, and looks great. But it’s thinner metal than I expected (which at least makes it light), and you’ll need bolts for fog lights as well as wiring harness extensions. On my daughter’s mall crawler 2012, it’s perfect. I wouldn’t trust it with a winch, and it’ll likely take damage if she bumps anything- still recommend.

Easy Install, Decent Quality
I gave this a 5-Star review as long as you’re aware that this bumper is of a lighter gauge steel and not the 1/8”-3/16” thick steel used for heavy duty off-road crawling. is good for functional use as a tire carrier for light trails and mall crawling. The supplied bearings are very nice quality. Fit, function and finish were all great. Installation took about an hour by myself. My Jeep has a 1-1/2” body lift, so the tire swingarm and turnbuckle mounting points didn’t line up, but was easily compensated for with a quick trip to the hardware store for a solid steel standoff to lower the mounting point. Mounted on a 2007 Jeep JKU Rubicon, 6” suspension lift, 1-1/2” Body lift, 37” tires. I also run 40” tires and with the body lift there is clearance for a 40” spare… without the body lift, a 38” spare is a tight fit buy will fit.

Great product, good value, easy to instal but requires two people and has horrible directions
Terrible directions - if this is the first time you've ever done something like this, get professional help or buy a different brand - tells you in initial steps to use bolts that are way too big for side mount (the ones that acctually hold center mount in later steps). The only way to determine this is trial and error followed by process of eliminationand its confusing for someone that knows what they are doing so a biginer would get totally confused, frusterated, and eventually want to return it.Other reviews mention the coating being thin. This is true of this product as well as brands twice the cost. For best performance and to reduce wear and tear that will result in early rust:->> Before you install it, purchase 3 cans of rustoleum brand, high temp, enamel, spray paint and give all black components 3 coats then another 2 or 3 coats on and around dring loops with special attention to the inside of the loops (maybe 2 or 3 additional coats on inside) can also choose different color or/and designs for personalized look->> paint drings with same paint (different color looks cool). I recommend 6 coats for best lasting effect. This also eliminates the abrasive texture of the drings thuss allowing the paint on dring mount to last longer.***DO NOT paint the threds inside drings or on dring bolts!!!***.->> finally purchase and instal dring silencers to reduce banging. This notonly allows paint to last longer but also reduces annoying noises. I recommend ones that include washers because they work slightly better for both purposes and cost nearly the same

Extremely good value for the price.
This bumper was higher quality than I expected. The packing was double boxed/stapled together, and the box arrived with no damage at all on the corners. the finish was very nice, with no chips or flaws. It is very heavy, and will take 2 people to mount it up comfortably. It looks just as good as any $600-$800 bumper, at less than half the cost. The bumper bolted up perfectly, with no vehicle modifications required.HOW TO INSTALL:1. Remove oem bumper (if you can't figure this one out, you better have someone install your new one.)2. Probably remove your muffler, which makes it much easier to get to the center install bolts later.3. You have 2 rectangular pieces which slide INSIDE the frame rails on each side. Those are what your SHORT bolts slide into. The short bolts will go from the outside of bumper, into those nuts on your special plate. Don't fully tighten down any bolts until all 8 bolts are installed.4. Then your other piece is for the center support near the tow hook. You have 4 longer bolts there for the center mount area. start those bolts half way or more.5. Finish tightening the center bracket first.. which will make sure the sides are aligned nicely later one. Then tighten the bumper edges last.** There is a full install video in my 2007 Wrangler playlist on my YouTube channel LastHumansGarage. Subscribe. **
