Navepoint has a very good server rack, I was very impressed with how strong and sturdy the rack is once fully assembled, plus the added wheels make moving the server around easy. Assembly of the server rack can be done with just one person if you put it together carefully and ensure none of the supports get bent or twisted during assembly. All included hardware with the rack works very well including the server cage nuts and screws, they are holding several large heavy items in my rack without issue. The rack itself can also hold hundreds of pounds of weight without any issue and the adjustable depth on the rack is nice. I can highly recommend it since it works very well in my basement

This is a sturdy, basic, open frame 42U, 23.75" deep, square-hole rack on casters that can reasonably hold some 800lb of content. It comes in pieces that you get to assemble (fiddly, but not difficult). The build quality is good to excellent. At $350, it's a bargain. Read on for details. Assembly notes are at the bottom.Material is good - powder-coated steel with no material flaws. I found one cosmetic ding that you need to squint to notice. The whole thing is very solid. The casters are sturdy enough; the locks require some force but stay firmly locked after that. The frame has all the usual cutouts and mounting holes. There are four internal vertical cable channels formed by the frame that actually work pretty well with cable ties. It's not fancy, but it's solid.This is an open frame - no front, back, side, or top panels. This is good for air flow and very, very good for access and cable routing. It's not good if you need physical security or sound dampening.Depth is adjustable during assembly in 1.5" decrements (from the maximum of 23.75"). If you need 24" or more depth, get the deeper model instead. The outside depth is 32" (at the bottom) regardless of how you assemble it. This gives you some basic stability if you have heavy slide-out equipment.A word on price: You can pay over $2000 for a rack like this. It'll come fully assembled, dropped off at your loading dock for $100+ shipping (and extra for lift gate service if you don't have a loading dock), ready to use once you take 50lb of packaging off, and it'll support 3000lb of equipment. Or you can pay $350 for this (with free Amazon shipping and returns) and spend two hours of your time (and preferably someone else's) to put it together. That's your trade-off. I did it mostly for fun, but then I'm weird that way.Assembly: It comes in pieces, well shrink-wrapped in a longish box. Kudos for using cardboard and nestling pieces inside each other with shrink-wrap as buffer. The assembly instructions are cheaply made but reasonably clear.There are two ways of putting this together. Following the instructions, you'll build it standing up. You absolutely need a second person to do this safely. If you're doing it single, assemble it lying down and keep rotating the partly assembled frame, rotisserie-style, as you place the screws. Note that you'll need 8 feet of space doing it that way. Consider doing this outdoors; you'll be banging up the floor some as you shift things around.Either way, you will place some 80 screws (definitely bring a power screwdriver) in approximately the right order. The screws mate with nuts you will have to hold in place, often in odd corners of articulated steel pieces. If you have big hands, that will be a bit of a challenge - doable, just awkward. A few screws go in through cutouts that require some juggling to get right. I used needle pliers (not included) to place them.Put all the screws in slightly loosely and then go around and tighten them. The frame will magically pull itself into shape. Be careful not to lose or strip any screws; they provide no extras.If you assemble lying down, put the casters on last. That's not what the instructions say, but if the frame gets away from you half-assembled, someone or something could get hurt.

A Solid, Sturdy, and Big Server Rack. Came with FedEx. Delivered on time. Assembly was straightforward. It took me 1.5 hours to assemble.Came with no scratches on the metal. Came double boxed and all components were wrapped in a thick plastic wrap. Good packaging!Just a tip. The packaging is very long and heavy. This rack worked perfect! Made very well. Very sturdy and had many adjustable sizes. After I built it I had to tilt it to get it through a standard door but its not heavy enough that one person can't do it. I kind of wish it came with more mounting screws/nuts but it had more than the other brands that I have bought. This is my 3rd rack from NavePoint and I wouldn't buy another brand. Oh.......5 Big O'l Stars for Amazon... This rack came in 2 days. 6 days earlier than the estimated shipping time. You got to love Prime!!!

I wrongly assumed this rack would fit servers into it not just through it. The depth may only be 18 in on this rack. Your servers will stick out the front and the back if this is the way you go. Aside from that, the rack is stable the wheels are good quality It just doesn't look nice in space once it's loaded.
