This desk is light-weight and easy to assemble for a single person.It took me about 50 minutes to assemble it myself, and I only needed the tools provided, with one caveat.There were two holes that had metal shaving obstructions that prevented me from properly threading the screws. I used a drill bit to clear those and continue the assembly.It is definitely strong enough to hold the computer and books that I will be putting on it. Because it is mostly metal, it jiggles more than other desks that I have owned, but I am just fine with that.I would recommend this desk for a corner computer workstation/handwriting station in a small home office.

This desk has been pretty solid for me, no complaints. I like the second shelf for standing monitors on especially.The drawer is just cheap plastic though. One side broke within 6 months of purchase, and the drawer now randomly falls off the desk onto the floor.

The amount of space I have now is seriously impressive. No more Tetris-ing my laptop, keyboard, and coffee mug – everything fits comfortably, and I even have room to spread out my notes and art supplies.The coolest part? I have had this desk in my crafting studio for almost two months now and I am still so happy with it. The value for the size and quality vs. the cost is excellent! I moved to a different state and had to leave a lot of the big furniture pieces behind, including my workspace desk and cutting table. This was an excellent and affordable option for me to get my craft space back up and running.It is the perfect size for the working corner of the craft room and it looks great. I know it is made for computers/gamers but it has provides me with the work surface and leg room that I need to work around my projects. Another bonus is the foot rests.It was very easy to assemble as the instructions are clear, the components are simple and it only took me about an hour. My only challenge was turning it over by myself, but I managed. Once I put it in place, I just adjusted the feet to stabilize it on my uneven floors and now it's solid. The only time I have any issue is when I'm using a more powerful machine, like a serger, which will shake a majority of the desks I use it on, but this one vibrates slightly more than most. The drawer is not the best, but it does come in handy to have sewing machine tools and supplies on hand.I am giving it 4 stars because it does shake a little when I'm working sometimes, the drawer could be a little better and because it did come just a little beat up. I know that can be an issue with shipping, but it could be packaged a little better during manufacturing in anticipation of logistics issues. HOWEVER, this does not make me like this desk any less. The fact that it is an affordable desk that is this size, and quality for the cost, is amazing. It is more of a 4 1/2 stars for me and I highly recommend it.
