Light ladder, sturdy and easy to transport
I love this ladder. So much lighter than the last one I had like this. Easy to move, but in trunk of my vw when I have to take it somewhere to help a friend. I am a big guy and it is rated to carry my weight and more

You need to know this before buying
I will start with the fact that I love this ladder. It is very light and easily carried with one arm. The flip side of that is sketchy stability. I weigh right at 200lbs and occasionally bulk to 225. My first use was for electric work on a 14' vaulted ceiling. The ladder was at full A-Frame height. My base was hard wood flooring. As I climbed, the ladder began spreading at the base. By the time I was up to the 3td from top rung, the ladder had spread about three feet and my weight was solely dependant on the flip latches at the top of the A-Frame. It did not feel like it would hold, so I ratchet strapped the bottom rungs with one strap. I went up again and the base of the ladder began to twist as one side still tried to spread, requiring both sets of feet to be strapped. Then ot was perfect. My second use was having it extended to a straight 22'. When I passed halfway up, the flex felt as though it would snap the higher I went. It held, but I dont think it would if I had my 20lb tool belt on and was taking something up with me that weighed much. Now, I ratchet strap the bottom if it's extended to half its A-Frame height, and I made stabilizer arms that go out to a wall if I use it at 14 plus feet as an extension ladder.Again, I do love this ladder for the carrying weight, it just takes some extra stabilization at extended heights. I will continue to use it as long as it lasts.

It makes squeaky sounds
The toggles and knots are sometimes hard to twitch and makes a slight squeaky sound. Just makes you feel not as sturdy sometimes. It can be better for this price. Too lazy to return it since it’s a big guy to put in the car.

Not a Ladder for Painters
First of all, I'm not a professional ladder person. I'm not sure who is, maybe firefighters? I'm not a firefighter.I'm a girl who paints my house a lot.I moved into a new house that has really high ceilings, so I needed a high ladder. This one was high, in budget, and flooded my search results. Alright, let's do this.*Deep breath*First of all, maybe this should have gotten two stars because constructing it was pretty basic and there were no problems there. But I have to buy a different ladder so I'm sticking with one star.I paint bare foot. I pull up my hair, put on a tank top and yoga pants, then go to town. You can not use this ladder bare foot. It's liking climbing bamboo. It hurt my feet. The rungs are rounded and narrow. Ouchie. The top does not have a landing shelf. It has metal round hinge thingies. No where to set my paint rag, no where to set my hand bucket and cutting brush. So now I'm unbalanced--due to the rounded rungs--and there is nowhere to put my stuff. Discomfort ensued.I had to use the top heights and lean while doing so. Although I didn't fall to my death, there was some wobbling that wasn't comforting. All and all, not a ladder for a girl painting her house. It could be your ladder if you wear shoes, don't need to put your stuff anywhere, and don't mind wobbling.
