Pretty much perfect condition
Perfect. No other way to describe it. I searched the phone thoroughly, looking for signs of wear.Screen: after two days I finally found a micro scratch in the lower right corner of the screen. The only way I found it was when affixing a screen protector, cleaning the screen I noticed it at a certain angle when the phone was off. Affixed the screen and the micro scratch is completely invisible regardless if the phone is on or off. To me that's as good as flawless. There were no scratches or dents on the rear facing camera, which surprised me given how far this protrudes on the Pixel 8 ProBody: No dents, scratches, cracks, or damage of any kind. No objects obstructing or damage to any of the ports including microphone, USB-C, speakers. Buttons worked flawlesslyInternal components: Screen free of any dead pixels, spots, etc. If there's any kind of screen bleed I haven't noticed it. I ran a battery gauge app for five days. Separately I used Android's system apps to measure the battery life. Everything stated the battery was in great condition. This was just as important to me as the screen; I plan to use this phone for the next three years at least so having a healthy battery was critical. On my phone and my tablets I always turn on Charge Optimization - battery charge limit set to 80% to prolong the life of the battery as much as possible. I'm not on my phone all day, my total screen time for any given day never exceeds 4 hours (usually less) but I have yet to use more than 40% of the battery per day.Phone arrived partially set up, the welcome screen for Android setup had been bypassed by someone and the phone was on the home screen. Of course I had no idea who partially set it up so for safety's sake I did a full factory reset. Always factory reset your devices when you get them if they haven't been reset already.Overall I'm extremely impressed. I loved my Pixel 5a and managed to get three years of use before a manufacturer's defect finally killed it. I also shudder at paying $1000 or more for a phone, obviously okay with buying last year's model after all of the updates/glitches have been worked out and the next shiny new thing has been released to drive down the price of the older model. Getting a one year old Pixel flagship phone for a fraction of the cost when new, this is absolutely worth it.Disclaimer: there were a number of things I didn't test nor will I do so. I don't play games on my phone, can't test the battery drain or the excess heat generated. This review covers how I use my phones. As long as I can use it to text, access the web, run my various apps, watch some media, video conference, and even upon rare occasion make phone calls (weird I know) I'm content.

Don't Think, Just Buy
When I got the phone in my hands, it was perfect. I didn't see a single scratch, it was like new. I bought a case for it, for some reason Google likes to make these phones slippery. I've owned almost every single pixel phone and this one is by far my favorite one. I highly recommend buying this phone, especially if you want stock or pure android. The phone is unlocked, so it'll work on all antennas. The battery life is decent. Mine had full capacity when I bought it. Very bright phone in direct sunlight. Looks gorgeous and feels durable.

The one I got it was defect item
When you got any of those phones you need to be sure that it is totally functioning as many review say, as an example in my phone I noticed that the screen is not white when the background is white but it is tint ! The only way to overcome that is to make the bright into maximum, and then when I go out outside I noticed that there is something wrong under the screen as if there is like a glue or some kind of other coloring in the beginning I thought this is from the top because maybe the previous owner installed screen protector but there's nothing then I try to clean the screen hoping it is from outside but it's obviously it is something behind the screen, and because you have to make it go maximum and bright to overcome that color yellowish color the phone as other issue when you go outside you will notice that it does not go in bright as it should in fact it's hard to read the screen,.Another big issue when you use the mobile data the phone gets hot and the battery drain extremely fast I lost 30% of my battery in less than 25 minutes listening to a radio station from TuneIn app even though the screen was off! And the back of the phone was extremely hot even though I'm using case still I felt the heat without the case the heat will be very annoying to your fingers. So I think each one of you should check those issues1: do you lose the battery so fast when you go to data?2: is the screen very clear and able to read when you are outside?3: does it stay cool when you are using the data?4: and chick how good is your screen our door not indoor under the Sun for that will show you better ability for any defect.

I'm VERY happy I got it and you will be too!
This phone is great like new quality and I'm very happy with it. Every feature works beautifully and it is like advertised on the post. I've had Google phones for years and my pixel 7 screen was acting up. The 8 pro has such a cleaner, bright more crisp screen on it and the reception is good not to mention that the speakers on the 8 are LOUD and the phone is fast even when running tons of stiff all at once. Battery life is awesome too which honestly I was worried about but I worried for nothing cause it usually will last at least 36 hours on a full charge.Very happy that I bought it and you will be too!

Coming from pixel 7 pro, this was not worth jumping into.
To be fair, this was returned, and the seller took it back. The glass looked melted in the bottom. There was visible bumps.I'm not sure if this was liquid glue used to fill a crack in the screen. For the 10 minutes that I used the phone, I was not impressed upgrading from 7 pro to 8 pro. I would make the jump to 9 pro. It has a significantly more upgraded case.
