i have recently purchased a new home that needed some renovation and among other tools and materials i needed i saw this scaffolding and was really impressed by what it could do the composition and the price!At $600 it was superiorly priced among some others that were comparable. i saw a buddy of mine have one that was more stationary and that included a large heavy piece of plywood that was a pain in the neck when storing and using and i decided to order this one and see if it worked well or even better than that!although this is aluminum i have no doubt as to its integrity as its very thick in the places where it needs the most support. The break points for it folding for storage have fail safes and quality locking mechanisms and i have good piece of mind when I'm on it at even a relatively high point that it will not faulter. The adjustability is fantastic and easy to put higher or lower.this scaffolding has features others do not like the additional wheels that making moving it really easy and smooth and a switch over to the well gripped legs for a nice sturdy support.although smaller than the one my body has this is definitely better in my opinion as it has the ability to do much more.while it boasts a wider work area i do think that it is smaller compared to others and if let's say painting would need to be moved more than others that are bigger, but i would still prefer this because of everything else it includes.the safety handrails are great for getting on and off which are absent on a lot of other similar products and storing this is my favorite feature because it takes up no space at all and all the components are togetherwhat this product can do that i have not seen others do is be as versatile! because this product has the ability to also act as a bench, ladder or tower it can be used in a multitude of ways all the others ive seen cannot!really great design that has been well thought out to provide more than just one tool for many jobs!it does take a while to install/assemble everything properly but once all together it really can be folded to almost nothing and easily stored.my first use was to change out a chandelier about 10 feet high and this was a godsend as i was able to easily reach it and have a great sturdy platform with which to work. the fixture was in a tight hallway and so because this is a bit compact in its overall space it worked very well and fit with room to spare!quality is fantastic all the way around and i almost can't believe i got this for the price i did!i really appreciate the versatility and design!

Once assembled correctly, the scaffolding provides a sturdy and safe work area. Each of the two sides can be used separately as A-frame or extension ladders as well. While the User Instructions spell out the safety precautions at length (read these thoroughly, of course), the assembly instructions are drawings only. There are not a lot of parts involved so the picture-only approach mostly works. But, because of the lack of text (or a more detailed drawing), it took three attempts to get the wheels mounted correctly – they need to be on the outside of the finished unit and oriented right-side up so that they can be disengaged while working on the scaffolding and engaged when moving it.I only used this inside my garage, which has a smooth, level surface. The support braces make the scaffolding very stable and I felt comfortable working on it. As mentioned in the safety rules - make sure you DO NOT CLIMB ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT, otherwise the scaffolding will tip over towards you! Also, the trap door doesn’t stay open by itself, so it can easily fall of your head (or fingers) when climbing through

I have several DIY projects I'm doing around the house including painting, changing light fixtures and fans, etc. This scaffolding feels safer than my standard ladder. It can be used indoor and outdoors. Using a ladder I feel like I'm already trying to balance then trying to lift a fan or fixture feels unstable. This scaffolding holds my weight well (about 230lbs) and it gives me the freedom to easily use both of my hands with my feet on a wide platform to do my project. The equipment folds down nicely afterwards for storage.

This unit did not come with assembly instructions, so be prepared to scratch your head a lot as you figure it out.Once assembled, it feels kinda flimsy with a lot of lateral motion. As an engineer, I'm pretty sure I installed all the cross bracing correctly, but again, without assembly instructions, I can't be sure.
