MetalTech Scaffolding Platform, Bakers Scaffold Ladder Roofing Equipment, 6 ft

I am giving this a 5-star review because Metaltech is a high-quality scaffold. Easy to assemble. My two concerns about this product are the platform does NOT have the climb through door as shown in the picture and the "H" rails have horizontal round tubes instead of the square stock with grip ridges. If you have wet hands, DO NOT try to climb up or down by grasping the round stock rails. I'll have to order anti-slip tape, as safety is first!Take the time to fully look at what you are buying, as my other Metaltech Baker door scaffolding does have the climb door platform that also has a rubber mat riveted in place. Plus, the climbing rungs are square with grip assist perforations on top of the rung

I put it together in about 10 minutes out of the box. My neighbor wandered over (an electrician) and helped but it was incredibly easy. One of the wheels didn’t fit into the tube on the scaffold but with a big hammer that problem was easily solved. I was a little bit brought down because the picture clearly showed a man climbing up through the center of the scaffold but the decking I received didn’t allow that. It was a single big board, not the two half boards shown in the ad. But despite that, I was happy with the purchase. I bought it to use to stand on while cleaning my solar panels and it will work just fine for that purpose. I was originally concerned that it wouldn’t be high enough and I’d have to buy another unit to stack on top of it but when I wheeled it back to the panels (over the lawn no problems) it turned out I only needed the one I purchased. After assembling it, I bought (with my electrician friend’s advice) the extra stabilizing wheels.

Purchased this scaffold while building an addition on my home . Worked perfectly for installing tongue and groove pine on the ceiling. Super sturdy, adjustable, and the locking wheels keeps it secured in place … a lot easier than a ladder!

The scaffold appears to be well made. The wheels roll easily, track well and the brakes hold solidly. I am working on a 12 foot high ceiling. The platform is set close to the top. The platform shakes a lot when I am moving on it to fasten ceiling panels. This does not inspire a sense of confidence. Some form of cross bracing is needed to control the shaking. I finished the ceiling and lowered the platform to half height. This reduced the shaking to not noticeable. The wheels and brakes continue to perform in an outstanding fashion.

looks like it will work great

The media could not be loaded. I bought the scaffolding so that I can insulate my 36 x 36 metal barn. I held off putting it together cause I thought it was gonna take a lot to do it myself. This thing was so easy to put together. It needed no extra tools. And I was able to do it by myself. I would highly recommend it. It seems very durable and after I’m done, I will use it as a workbench when I’m not using it as scaffolding it’s a great product.

This is a real scaffolding. Its big, its heavy, and seems about as sturdy as you expect! The wheels are fine. Shipping was free for me. My friend has another matching one, and we can now stack them on top of each buddy system style! Its a fine line wether this tower of babble is genius or stupid, but what wasn't clear when i purchased this was the instructions say to use a leg spreaders extensions if you want to double up.

This works really well for what I wanted to do which is to cut higher Acacia tree branches that are higher than 23 feet with my long cutting pole saw. These last three branches are just too high out of the total twelve I already cut down over the last two weeks.This scaffolding is really easy to assemble after watching a YouTube video.
