It works as expected
Installation took only 5 minutes. I am using the product with ShipPlotter software on a PC and AIS reception is acceptable. Windows found and installed the driver automatically. You will probably want to buy a USB extension cable, and use an external antenna (the included antenna is OK). I would not want to expose the receiver to the weather on a boat.
