This fishing rod set is quite good value considering everything you get. The rod and reel work fine, it’s just a pain to get the line onto the reel, it would be better if it came already on. The gloves are very comfortable with an adjustable strap depending on your wrist size. There’s a few things I did not like about this however. For starters, the artificial maggots and corn was a very cheap plastic. I wouldn’t fish with it. The frog lure is also quite small compared to any other ones I bought. The line is also cheap, which is expected and red. There’s nothing wrong with red line my preference is just clear line. It is quite easy to cast and the rod is a good size and has a stable base. It’s quite convenient for storage as the rod can become quite small, making it very easy to take fishing with you. Overall, this is a great set for beginners and I’d recommend, the only thing I’d say is get some better line.

My husband absolutely loved it . It is compact , amazing for travelling. It just went it to luggage with ease. We had some lovely fish in Turkey. Also I was amazed how sturdy and good quality was the fishing rod. Works just like any other professional ones. Worth it big time.

The media could not be loaded. I'll just start by saying that, for the money, this kit represents good value. OK, the gloves and float are almost disposable and unusable respectively but everything else is of good enough quality including the line which is cheap and red but still perfectly useable.The rod is a very compact and lightweight carbon fibre affair with metal hardware. I discovered by accident that the butt has a telescopic extension and can be unscrewed and pulled backwards almost doubling its length. The front end of the rod is also telescopic and extends to the described size of 2.1m even without the butt extended. The line guides are chromed metal and all wound on securely to the carbon fibre blank. The aluminium reel seat and associated tightening screws all feel strong and will be corrosion resistant making this a good option for light sea fishing.The spinning reel is a 2000 so only really good for chucking out light weight lures or wigglers with light lightweight baits. It runs very smoothly but has a tiny bit of play in it which is to be expected at this price. It has a nice-looking wooden handle which locks into place with a simple sprung latch system that I have tried to show in my video.Accessories that are worth talking about include the line, the lures and the hand towel.The line does indeed have very little stretch and maybe some sort of fluorocarbon. On the downside, its red which isn't ideal for course fishing and there isn't much of it but one presumes there is enough to fill the small reel. No breaking strain is given but it looks adequate for the sort of fishing the set is suited to.There is a selection of lures; a hard plastic lure, a soft frog lure, a whole bunch of soft rubber maggots, corn and minnows. There are some hooks. however, they are far too big for the rest of the set unless you are using this for sea fishing but even then, they might be a bit too large. In addition, there are some float stops, running beads and quick-change clips. There is also a pair of cutters for cutting the line.This is a midrange starter kit with some useful bits and pieces. If this is for a first-time angler then I would suggest buying some smaller hooks to nylon and some waggler floats to fish for small silver fish such as roach and Rudd. You could try a bit of lure fishing in the sea from a pier say but this kit is going to struggle a bit if you hook something big. It does happen!At time of writing this was about £34. I think you would struggle to get this equipment separately for less and of a similar quality. It's a thumbs up from me.

The best travel fishing Rods. The best combo comes with good reel, telescoping rod that is better than most and its own sling bag, easy to carry anywhere. It provide best balance and feel, easy set the hook. It is more accuracy than most other models. An excellent all round rod.

This set contains everything you really need. You can enjoy fishing just by taking this set with you. I highly recommend it.
