Excellent product
Although my hearing was only diminished at higher frequencies, I was told that hearing aids might help with my profound tinnitus. Specifically, these hearing aids transmit a variety of background sounds that the user can select that, for me, effectively masks the tinnitus. There are also multiple other options with the app that allows you to modify and customize your aids via Bluetooth. Coincidentally, the Bluetooth also lets you listen to broadcasts from your phone and listen to phone calls. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from the company to ask how I was doing with my hearing aids and subsequently answered a number of questions.

Fit in ear well, comfortable and dont fall off. Sound quality is great
I have mild hearing loss in my right ear and moderate hearing loss in my left ear. What this means from quality of life perspective is that my left ear doesn't hear the richness of sounds as my right ear and volume is subdued. These hearing aids work really well for my case. There is an independent volume and tone setting for each ear which accounts for all the frequency range. I did do the integrated hearing test which i assume is to tune the hearing aids to your ears. These hearing aids securely fit in my ear canal and rest on top of back of ear - so i feel comfortable wearing them with no worry of them falling off. The streaming feature is seamless and when you are done listening to a clip or music, the listening mode kicks in straight away. Sound quality is great in listening and streaming mode.I tried these at home, restaurant and comedy club - they work great in all those environments. I was able to hear my wife clearly in the noisy environments. The only issue i had initially was warbling of music on high tones. But the tone adjustment feature worked great for this.I have had absolutely no feedback whistling that some others reported.

Pretty Good and I can afford them!
============Update April 24The receiver tube was the #2 but was uncomfortable for me. I emailed support and they replied promptly and sent out the longer #3 which arrived a few days later. Very good service.Speech sounds fine, but a pure tone, like the microwave beeping or a note from a piano, is distorted. What seems to be happening is that a fraction of a second after the tone begins to sound there is a distorted echo of the tone. This means that listening to most music, either live or through speakers, is useless. The hearing aid can be connected via bluetooth to my cellphone or computer and music played from them. That sounds fine.If I were more of a music lover I would return the hearing aids, but as it is, I am just changing the rating from 5 stars to 4.I have always had a hard time with the tinny sound of my cell phone but when playing a call through the hearing aid I can hear every nuance of the caller’s speech.============Original ReviewThe app connected well and stayed connected allowing precise control of each function.Volume: from 0 to ear-splitting. very preciseNoise control: it got rid of some of the noise in the supermarket but did nothing for the car’s engine and road noise. The supermarket fix included a narrowing of the audio bandwidth, and was good enough so that I did not have to turn the aids off, or remove them from my ears to end the unpleasantness that I usually undergo in supermarkets if I try to wear a hearing aid.Feedback: almost none. a rarely occurring sound for a second or less.Rear sound diminishment: this does nothing to speak of. If the volume is set very high, there are a few nulls as I turn from facing a motor noise. The nulls are scattershot and not very deep. At normal volume I can hear no difference. It was easy to get to the page to download a recent update.Making and receiving calls over the cellphone piped them through the hearing aid and the person on the other end could hear me clearly even though I was speaking at the air.The remote phone thing worked. I left the phone near my wife and got out of earshot but could hear her and she could hear me.These aids are 4.75 grams vs 4 grams for the ones I have been wearing for the past year. They feel just as comfortable as the previous aids. I have no problem putting on and taking off my glasses. As I continue to use these I may find better settings for tuning them and will update the review.

Yes, they are worth the investment.
I'm surprised how much I like these hearing aids. They are comfortable and effective. I particularly enjoy the Bluetooth connection to my phone. The best part, aside from hearing better, is the rechargeable feature. I disliked dealing with the tiny batteries in my former hearing aids. The hearing aids last all day and more when fully charged. These hearing aids are well worth the investment.

Great Sound, good support
Edit for the review below:Elehear Customer Support contacted me regarding my experience with their product and they are working with me to figure out why I had a problem with the Beyond OTC hearing aids. They have been attentive and have followed up with me as they work on the issue I had.I am looking forward to continue using the Beyond hearing aids, I am a classical music fan who loves listening to music with my Beyond aids. The hearing part works well but for me it's also about tbe music and that's where these aids really shine.Great sound quality but they are absolutely NOT RELIABLE. I have bought 2 of these and each set has had one of the aids fail completely in less than 3 weeks. Their "customer service" is not very responsive. I suggest to anybody reading this review: DO NOT BUY

Probably not worth your time
I know what I don’t like about these, they’re not hearing aids. They’re definitely sound amplifying devices, unlike they’re advertising. They may work for some people with hearing loss, but they do not work for me with my mild to moderate loss. I can’t get rid of the echo no matter what size bells I use, changing the volume, the treble, the noise reduction, nothing. They were worth a try, and they are better than the $10 amplifiers that I have. Not worth $400 for sure.
