Overall, the blanket is great at keeping you warm and has a pretty decent build quality to it. The weight, however, is a double-edged sword. The weight of this blanket is noticeable and will hold its position even in windy conditions (if using it outdoors). Contrary to lighter blankets that allow you to move freely under them, the weight of this blanket causes it to stick to you and move with you when changing positions or while moving a limb, causing you to fight with it and reposition it on a regular basis. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and use it regularly.

I always keep blankets in car during winter in case I’m stuck out on the road or in a motel that doesn’t have adequate heat. This blanket is warm, good size and weight. Great value.

I soaked it in cold water in the tub to hasten the odor dissipation and it turned the water black. It took about 6 rinses before water ran clear. Take that as you will.
