I recently installed the floodlight camera, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The setup was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable.The video quality is outstanding, even at night—crystal-clear 1080p (or 4K, depending on the model), with sharp details and a wide field of view. The motion detection is highly accurate, and I love that I can customize the sensitivity to reduce false alerts. The built-in floodlights are super bright, easily illuminating my entire driveway.The two-way audio is a great feature, allowing me to communicate with visitors or deter unwanted guests. The app is user-friendly, with instant notifications and easy access to recorded clips. I also appreciate the integration with [Alexa/Google Assistant/HomeKit], which makes it even more convenient to use.Overall, this floodlight camera provides excellent security, high-quality video, and smart features at a reasonable price. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their home security!

More features than ring at a a significant discount. List price for this was $150 versus $180 for a wired WiFi floodlight cam but there was an instant discount for $30 so I paid $120 instead of $150. Both work with Alexa. But the Eufy camera pans and follows movement while the ring doesn’t. And with a micro SD card installed (not included but I already had extras) it records everything and stores it on the device, readily available for review and/or deletion. No subscriptions required although they are available if you want to go that that route. All in all, I think it’s a lot more for your money and it’ll take up to an 128GB micro SD card. And installation and connection was super quick and easy, installing it in an outlet previously used for an old analog floodlight. My nephew, who has a number of ring devices installed at his home, did the ladder work for me and was quite impressed, especially when he found out what it cost and what it’s capable of.

Good picture and motion. Much better than the one I replaced. Highly recommend.

Updated review.I have to give credit where credit is due.After publishing the critical review (below) over random full-page, pop-up ads on the Eufy security app, Anker/ Eufy customer service contacted me. I have to admit, I didn’t think they would be able to remove the pop-up ads on their app on my iPhone and iPad pro. I thought they were going to give me some “corporate speak” BS about how they are “dedicated to customer service” blah blah blah... and then not fix the problem. Well, I was mistaken. They apparently had their engineers make a couple of tweaks to my app and presto! No more pop-up ads. So if you have issues with pop-up ads on Eufy, reach out to their customer service people and make your case. I didn’t mention… the products work well. I have a doorbell, the S380 base with a hard drive upgrade and 3 security camera/ light kits. They all perform well. Time will tell if they are durable. So Kudos Eufy.*****************Dear Eufy,I’m about $1000 into a new Eufy security system with multiple Eufy cameras and lights around my home. Until today the system has worked well and as advertised. However, early this morning I heard a suspicious noise outside my home. When I grabbed my phone to check my security cameras, I WAS GREETED BY A FULL-PAGE, EUFY POP-UP AD which blocked my access to my security system. The ad would not click away until about 15 seconds had elapsed. This delay in allowing me to access my security system is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! Had the noise been burglars or even a home invasion robbery, (which are happening with more frequency in my area) my response time, in defending my family and my home, could have been seriously delayed. This compels me to ask…IS EUFY A SERIOUS SECURITY SYSTEM OR A CHILD’S VIDEO GAME?Eufy needs to immediately update their app to allow users (Customers) to opt out of all “pop-up” advertisements while using the app. There are already two (2) permanent software buttons on the “Home- dashboard” page of the App dedicated to up-selling the customer to purchase cloud service, security monitoring service, and/ or additional Eufy products. Ironically, one of the main selling points of the Eufy system is the option to opt-out of cloud monitoring subscription fees and store one’s data on a EUFY “Home Base” server (available at additional cost) to avoid subscription fees and potential data breaches of cloud storage.Until EUFY updates their mobile security app to allow users to opt-out of all NAG-WARE, pop-up advertising, I cannot consider EUFY a serious security platform and cannot recommend their “security camera” systems.

Good product from the Eufy line. I wish we could adjust the detection range to a lower level as it still picks up a lot of unwanted activity.

Put outside my house works great no subscription with the home-base. The picture is awesome in day or night.

Needed to work out a few bugs but works rather well and has good picture quality

The camera is great, the software (iPhone app) is terrible. I've used Eufy for many years and they still haven't figure out how to do location based geofencing. They will have 1/2 my cameras at HOME and 1/2 are AWAY when my phone is only in one place. Support is nothing but bot responses and it takes 24 hours to get a response...back and forth, back and forth. They will eventually hand you off to a "manager" which is just another bot response. I really need to find another camera that works with Apple Home.
