works as described . I am not sure how anybody could say this little egg boiler dosnt work ? really you place the correct amount of eggs in the device and the correct amount of water ??? and wait until it beeps lol . The only thing i can add for those who are unable to boil a egg is , choose a medium sized egg bring them to room temperature and make sure you prick the bottom of each egg and place them upside down in the egg boiler to allow the steam to escape

After daughter threw out my old saucepan which I saved and used for boiling my morning eggs, as we live in a hard water area, I was trying to decide between another cheap saucepan or this electric egg boiler. Was so glad I purchased this, it is so easy to use and no more timing my eggs and both toast and eggs are ready at the same time.So easy to clean, I wipe down after every use then, I leave white vinegar soaked kitchen roll on hot plate weekly to remove the scaling caused by the hard water.

It's water saving, compact, convenient and does the eggs like it says in the instructions. If you follow instructions you get the results you want but I would consider the size of eggs you place in the device as this will have an outcome on hardness. Large eggs weigh more, take more time to cook etc. Easy to clean, timer alarm is loud enough. Took 1 star off as I have reservations about the plastic lid, I am careful with it but I don't think it will last. I travel with this item in its original box.

It cooked 2 eggs just as I had hoped. It uses steam to cook the eggs. I wanted soft boiled eggs and that's what I got

Takes the guesswork out of boiling eggs. Perfect every time. I’ve used other makes of egg cooker and this one is the gives the most consistent results

It lasted only 5 months. We used it 1-2 times a week (Family is not a fan of eggs) and it stopped to work properly. It warms the water inside but as the rings, it never cooks eggs properly. Eggs are always undercooked despite of the water amount.

I think you have to play around with how much water you put in because it says it’s done when the water is all evaporated so if you want it to cook for a little bit longer, you have to put a little bit more water in. The little water measure is a good guide, but I think it also depends on how cold the room is and how you like your eggs. First attempt was a soft boiled egg so I filled it up to the one soft boiled egg Mark and it worked quite well. It was just a little underdone so maybe needed a tad more water.
