Replacement Amplifier Module for Mackie SRM 450, V2 Powered Speaker w DSP

I originally purchased a pair of these amplifiers for my Made in Italy v1 450s but found they work absolutely perfectly in my C300 v1s that were also Made in Italy and have the RCF components. I've always felt the C300s were severely anemic in the low end even when heavily EQ'd. These Lase amps literally bring them to life with the integrated DSP and make those RCF 12s thump just has hard as my 450s. It's so cool that I was able to make my passive speakers Active. The only thing I recommend you do right away is throw away the included power cord. It is laughable. Even though it's Class D I'm a firm believer in heavy awg power cords for all of my equipment whether it requires it or not. I have proof that amps will start clipping at high volumes when they're starved for power. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is if Lase puts out firmware updates for this amplifier there's no way to update them. There's no USB port inside or outside the amp.One week update: I am truly amazed at how punchy and powerful these amplifiers are. I ran my Mackie C300s at very high volume for about an hour and these Lase amps never clipped or shown signs of fatigue. When these speakers were brand new I doubt RCF knew the horn and 12 inch driver could sing and thump like this! I will not hesitate to buy again and urge you to do the same if you have classic Mackies you want to revive.

Installed in a JBL EON505 that could no be repaired, this replacement board worked perfect.

SRM 450A. Mackie SRM 450 V2. Is now back in action. Kit came with longer screws as new amp package does not sit as deeply in the back of the speaker as the old one. Thus the old screws were not long enough.Giving four out of five stars because DSP knob is proud of the rear case exposing it to damage.Sound quality is great, the DSP allows you to switch between speaker and monitor mode. It also allows you to individually adjust trouble mid and base plus -13 DB.115 versus 230 V AC is selectable by a switch on the back instead of being automatic like the original

fit perfectly to the back of my speaker boxes. Works like new, much less bother and expense than repairing the blown up amp. I would buy it again.

Sound better than the original

Love this idea! I purchased direct from manufacture, not Amazon (avoided shipping charges.) This fixed my old SRM450v2 in minutes and sounds as good or perhaps even better than new! No installation instructions supplied, but pretty self explanatory (all screws and connectors were supplied though.) I included some basic RTA comparisons but I also had a blown speaker so my RTA variations could be because of the aftermarket speaker I also installed (CELESTION TF1230S Replacement Woofer.)

I have homes in the US and Philippines which have different household voltages (120V vs 220V). I was looking for some way to convert my Mackie SRM450 v1 to 220V. This replacement amplifier module seems to do the trick. My options were limited so this was the most convenient. Watch my posted video review for all the details.I would have given this product 5 stars but the DSP option has some room for improvement, mostly the delay option which I can't seem to get to work as well as the two inputs can't be configured via the DSP independently.All in all, this is a great alternative to salvaging a non-working Mackie SRM450 v1 or v2 active speaker with electronics issues or as in my case, gives me the international voltage option (100-240VAC) without purchasing a costly and heavy outboard transformer.
