Bought for my tree surgeon husband. The photos are really stunning and content very interesting. Also a great statement piece and talking point.

Bought as a gift for my daughter who is doing her final year of an art degree and her work is centering around trees. This book fits the bill perfectly and is not just beautiful photography but is a fascinating insight into the secret world of trees, their interdependence on each other and what happens under the soil. I casually picked it up over the Christmas holiday and was immediatley hooked. The book is very well written, easy to access and really quite magical. I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed reading the book

This book is full of the most beautiful and varied images of trees, alongside a succinct but informative text that tells an amazing story. It has made walking amongst trees even more inspiring with the added knowledge I now have about how they behave.

Could have been a beautiful book - the text is of great interest and just demands fabulous pictures to compliment it. Trees are wonderfully photogenic and the pictorial content is superb - but let down by cheap colour reproduction that doesn't do them justice.

Having previously read this book on my Kindle, I purchased this edition for my Gran. There are more photos than anticipated, and they're bright and colorful - perfect to break up the text (which can get a little heavy sometimes). Would definitely recommend!

I love everything about this book. The accessibility of the information, the illustrations, so much to learn ... the whole thing ... perfect for any tree lover.
