dotless DOT key 4D-67
dotless but is really a DOT key 4D-67Very glad to have saved the money and obtained a working set of spares for my familys toyotas... except a 2007 AvalonI've made 3 of the 4 I bought. Two worked right away on the Sienna. For the my mom's xmas present tho, the programming in the 2007 Avalon seems to be different from my siennaI've verified it works by programming her key against my van, and the security light turns off when it should...(I'm also pretty sure mom's key is a master, not a valet)I attempted to remove all keys from the computer, but that made no difference.Since the below methods worked on my sienna (And II worked to add the fob)it seems the next option is to use odb port techniques (not included below)FOR YOUR REFERENCEI. Program 2000's Toyota Chip Key (disable the car's immobilizer to start the ignition):1. With you inside the car and door closed insert master key 5 times into ignition without turning it on.2. On the fifth time leave the key in the ignition and open and close the driver door six times. Immobilizer light should come on and remain on.3. Remove the master key and insert the new transponder key. Immobilizer light will begin blinking. Wait for immobilizer light to stop blinking (should take under a minute). The car should start. There are several YouTube video with directions that are helpful.II. Program 2000's Toyota Remote-entry key fob (remote entry):1. Driver's door open, key removed from ignition switch.2. Within 5 seconds, insert and remove key (can be any key) from ignition switch twice.3. Within 40 seconds, close and open driver's door twice.4. Insert and remove key from ignition switch.5. Within 40 seconds, close and open driver's door twice.6. Insert key into ignition switch and close the driver's door.7. Switch ignition ON and OFF once to program a remote while retaining the original codes. Switch ignition ON and OFF twice to program remote while erasing the original code. Switch ignition ON and OFF three times to check how many remotes are currently registered or five times to erase all registered remotes.8. Remove key from ignition switch.9. System should now lock and unlock vehicle. Once, twice, or five times depending on which mode has been selected. Once to four times, slowly, to indicate how many remotes are programmed.10. Within 40 seconds: Press and release LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously (on the new key).11. Within 3 seconds: Press remote LOCK or UNLOCK button.12. System should now LOCK and UNLOCK vehicle once to confirm registration or twice to indicate programming has failed.13. Within 40 seconds, repeat step 10 to program additional remotes. Up to 4 remotes can be programmed.14. To exit programming mode, open driver's door.III. Optional: Erase the existing keysSomething that you may want to do, if you do not know how many keys are already programmed, is erase the existing keys and start over. It is very similar to programming your keys. Using the previous instructions as a template:1. Using a master key (original key), insert (and remove) it from the ignition 6 times. On the 6th time, leave it in the ignition, then:2. Open and close the driver's door 7 times.3. The security light should now stay lit red. When you remove the master key, this will be the only key that is still programmed. After this, you should be able to add your keys. Toyotas will allow 4 or 5 master keys, and 3 valet keys to be programmed.

HOW TO PROGRAM CHIP KEYS WHEN MASTER PROGRAMMED 5 TIMES
I have ordered 2of these keys and all work perfectly once cut and programmed.Delivery was really fast too (with Prime). These do not have the dot at base of key like my master, they do not have Toyota symbol on keys, master does not either. There are no instructions on how to program (sync) the key to your car, worse the only paperwork suggests there is no manual way to do it (hopefully seller can correct this now . they give you a business card on website of how to program it but it was useless.☺)...however it is actually quite simple to program (sync) a key, so here are full instructions. At some point you do need to get the key cut, but this can be before or after you sync the key, I had local lockshopcut my keys first to my master key. tThis way you can test key right away wthout doing special other way with master chip key near ignition switch. .These instructions worked specifically for a 2005 Toyota Solara (they may work for other years / cars too but you can always Google to make sure).Only a master key will lock/unlock the glove box! but this is untrue, my cut replacement keys locked and unlocked glove box before i programmed them.A master key will stop the immobiliser light from flashing when inserted into the ignition.2005Toyota SOLARA Transponder Key ProgrammingWith original (or any) master key and new key in hand sit in drivers seat with all doors closed then:1. Using original master key, insert key into ignition and remove it 4 times;2. Insert key a 5th time, leave it inserted then, within 35 seconds;3. Open and close driver’s door 6 times;4. Remove the original key (immobiliser light should remain on, steady not blinking);5. Insert new key and immobiliser light will start to flash slowly (if it flashes rapidly, see below);6. Wait up to 60 seconds for light to stop flashing (that is, go off).Key should now be programmed! If at step 5 above the immobiliser light flashes rapidly, the maximum of 5 keys are already synced with the car. You may need to reset the system and start afresh, as follows:a) With one master key, insert (into ignition) and remove 5 times;b) Insert a 6th time and leave key in ignition;c) Open and close drivers door 7 times. Immobiliser light will remain on for a second or twod) Remove master key from ignition. You now only have one key synced (the one used to reset the system). To add more keys , follow steps 1 to 6 above.I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU, IF NOT EMAIL ME. DAN

Not the right size for my 2004 Toyota Sienna!
These keys are not the right size for the 2004 Sienna. The length of the blade is about an 1/8th of an inch too short. I bought these because Amazon.com Garage said that they would fit my 2004 Sienna. When I got them, I first programmed them in, to make sure they would worked. I was able to do that. Then I took the keys down to get them cut. After getting them cut, I went to try them out. I could not get either one to turn in the ignition. With much effort and trying, I was able to figure out that if I inserted the key all the way in, and the pulled it backwards slightly as I fiddle it with it, if I did it just perfect, I could get the key to turn. Both keys had the exact same problem. At first I thought that it was the fault of the key shop that cut them, but when I placed the key blade up against my original OEM Toyota key, I could clearly see the that blade of this key was about an 1/8th of an inch shorter then the original. These keys can be programmed to the 2004 Sienna, but they are too short. They may work fine for other models though. I wish Amazon gave me a way to tell them that these keys are not compatible with my car, but they don't, so I am forced to leave this 1 star review to warn other buyers.
