Very nice works great
Really nice fixture for the price. I was specifically looking for one that only had one cord for both bulbs. I’m using this for a chameleon enclosure. It’s housing the daylight bulb and an Arcadia uvb bulb (with the plastic splash guard removed) To my surprise the “feet” can be placed anywhere along the grooves! Which is great cause I’m currently using a slightly smaller enclosure temporarily until I finish setting up the bigger one.

Well made aquarium light
Well made light unit, has the two bulbs for color and daylight, which is nice as my tank is deep. Easily installed, and has a nice profile on my tank. I chose this non-digital unit because that seems to be a weak link in some light units. I've only had this installed a month, but I couldn't be happier with this unit, and just need to buy a timer to plug on my cord for more ease of use. Super price also.

Overall, very good.
High quality product. I love the plexiglass spashguard, especially with my open-top tank. I have a fully-planted high-tech 75 gal setup, and while my plants are growing and happy, they aren't pearling. If you just dose Flourish Excel or don't have many plants, this would work great for you. If you inject carbon and have a lot of plants competing for light, either buy 2 of this product or go with T5 HO light setup with 3 or 4 bulbs.

great for my 90 gallon aquarium
I have been using this on my 90 gallon full planted tank in conjunction with a 48 inch double bright marineland LED light fixture, without this I was not getting the spread in the tank or the depth I needed for my plants. After I started using this light I noticed a rapid growth in my plants. As you can see in the photo I include that the combination of the 2 lights has created a nice jungle in the water. I would recommend this light for anyone wanting a planted aquarium light for a 4 foot aquarium that does not need high light. I do think this light would work fine with medium light in the brightest part of the beam or in shorter tanks than my 90 gallon.

I don't see how they can sell a product like this? It truly seems like a fire hazard ...
Can I give ZERO STARS? This light gets EXTREMELY HOT!!!!!!!!! I thought mine was defective, so I returned it to the manufacturer and they sent me another brand new one. It did the exact same thing. I don't see how they can sell a product like this? It truly seems like a fire hazard to me. This is a horrible product. It actually gets too hot to hold your hand on for more than about five seconds. I lost my money on this light because the place I bought it didn't accept returns. My bad for not reading the fine print.

Kind of a win/lose situation
Hi I ordered this Coralife T5 HO 30" Light Fixture for my planted tank and it arrived with one of the light bulbs broken, so I send it back for a replacement. The replacement light arrived on Monday April 30, 2012 good and working great. To bad it didn't last long, I come home one day (May 4, 2012) to notice my aquarium all lit in blue, the 10,000K Daylight bulb has dimmed dramatically {this 10,000K bulb didn't even last a week)to a point where only the Actinic Bluelight bulb is all that lights up the aquarium. So I went on ahead and purchased the 6,700K daylight bulb to replace the Actinic Bluelight Bulb and another 10,000K Daylight Bulb to replace the burnt one. Once these new bulbs arrive I'll replace them and hope that all ends well from there. I'm hoping that the ballast in the light fixture aren't malfunctioning...if that's the case I'll have to ask for another replacement. Will "update" once my replacement bulbs arrive.

Supplement with leds for a great hybrid system
Excellent value. Comes with bulbs already which can be changed out for other bulbs if needed. Currently using two as supplements for my leds over a 65 gallon reef. They allow for a perfect gap on my 18 inch wide aquarium.

Cheap build
I had to return 2 units because the plastic on both areas near the brackets cracked easily while removing the packing foam inside the lighting unit. Very lightweight plastic. I can see it degrading even more over time.
