Great idea and it really works.
I have used these adjustable boxes in single, double and triple gang. They are a great way of making sure the box and the finished wall are flush with each other. On my last remodel the electrical sub-contractor wouldn't use them, saying the tile installers don't like them, so they used a cheap extension that is put inside the box after tiling. It ended up making the receptacle recessed from he tile.On our current remodel the electrician had no problem with these. Go figure.I have used these on kitchen remodels where subway tile was being installed. The boxes adjust easily andI had no problems; neither did the tile installers.Carlon is also a quality brand, so the boxes are well made.I personally use small star drive cabinet head screws (GRK or Screw Products) to attached them; that way if I have to move or adjust the box up or down, it is easy to do.

Easy to install
I'm re-wiring a house with blown in insulation in the walls. I was looking for an easy way to install boxes without spilling insulation all over. I peeled the plaster, leaving the lath, and then with multi tool cut holes in lath to install boxes, running wire below floor to next receptacle. Worked great.

No more alignment problems!
In new construction you're always trying to make sure the offset will match the final wall configuration. With these, a simple turn of the side screw slides the box in and out over a range of nearly an inch. You can even make last minute adjustments after the wall is installed. Best idea ever.

Makes life easier
Received and installed today. Takes all the guesswork out of getting your boxes to the right depth for your drywall or other wall panels. Installation was a breeze. Worth the extra cost over nail in boxes.
